Over the past year, many organizations have followed a similar path in adopting AI. They’ve invested in modernizing their systems, structured their data, and implemented governance frameworks. With those foundations in place, the next logical step has been to connect AI—often through copilots or agents—directly to those systems.
The expectation is straightforward: if the data is accessible and well-organized, AI should be able to interpret it and deliver meaningful results.
In practice, that expectation is not being met.
Even in environments with mature infrastructure, AI outputs are often inconsistent, overly generic, or require significant human correction.
